This name change is more than just a new logo. It's a reflection of who we are and what we stand for.
Legacy was chosen to honor the rich basketball tradition of the Rogue Valley, including the coaches, players, families, and communities who've poured their hearts into the game for generations.
Southern Oregon has produced incredible talent, legendary teams, and lifelong memories on the court.
As our league continues to grow, our mission remains the same: to develop the next generation of athletes while carrying forward the pride, passion, and tradition that have defined basketball in our valley for decades.
We're building on the shoulders of those who came before and helping young players create legacies of their own.
League Divisions
Our league is divided into four divisions based on grade level to ensure fair and appropriate competition. Teams are formed based on the high school each player is expected to attend or the district where they currently reside.
5th Grade Division
The 5th grade division provides an introduction to competitive basketball.

- 7-minute stop clock quarters
- Focus on teaching fundamentals
6th Grade Division
The 6th grade division builds on fundamentals while introducing more advanced concepts.

7th Grade Division
The 7th grade division offers more advanced competition.

8th Grade Division
The 8th grade division prepares players for high school competition.

Legacy Hoops is proud to be a qualifier for the 2026 State Tournament by OAB in Salem, OR on March 6th-8th! The top teams in the standings after games on February 7th will be submitted for qualification.
Legacy Hoops is a premier basketball league for middle school boys in Southern Oregon. We provide a competitive, well-organized environment where young athletes can develop their skills and get ready for high school basketball. As the only official AAU-sponsored league for boys in Southern Oregon, we give players a unique opportunity to elevate their game and reach their full potential.
